Covid-19 Filming: After the Covid-19 pandemic | Our Latest Safety Measures

If required artists, clients and crew can wear PPE at location and on set following our latest safety measures. For example, face masks. This PPE is available in all production vehicles, on set and on location. PPE supplies include face masks, face shields, gloves, aprons, gowns and shoe covers. There is also be access to hand sanitiser and soap with running water to uphold and promote good hygiene standards along with clear signposting.

If required this role is be available for recce and shoot days according to shoot requirements and size. Our certified Covid-19 experts will ensure the highest standards of preventive safety in the workplace. For example, the monitoring of cast and crew temperatures.

A resource pack will be provided in advance of filming detailing procedures and preventive safety requirements for all clients and crew including a health declaration form. For example, use of face-masks and the frequent cleaning of all contact services and equipment handled frequently. This will also clearly outline toilet and hand washing facilities and hand sanitiser locations.

If required we advise strict social distancing in the workplace of 2 metres where possible. Where departments are unable to follow these safety measures, they will use PPE. Locations will further dictate the number of clients and crew on set, but we recommend that this should be kept to a minimum.

Our gear arrives sanitised from our suppliers and will be continuously sterilised throughout shoot days. Clients and crew will consistently use hand sanitiser when using all shared equipment, including after using to further reduce any risk of exposure during Covid19 filming.

We can ensure that artists, clients and crew call and wrap times are frequently staggered to reduce interaction between departments. Throughout the day we will take similar safety measures to reduce any congestion of artists, clients and crew. For example, we may hire additional client monitors and have reduced crew on set during filming.

We've seen an increase in our clients needing to work remotely while directing our local crews. Therefore we have developed several systems that allow our clients to be present on location despite working remotely. Our large network of crew means now more than ever we can deliver on this for our clients. This extends to casting and read-throughs with cast and crew.

Given the tendency for close proximity in these departments, crew will sterilise workstations after each use and wear enhanced PPE where required. We also encourage the use of any disposable and single use kit to reduce the risk of cross contamination and exposure further.

All drinks, meals and snacks will be provided individually and pre-packaged in sealed packaging. These will be disposable along with any containers and utensils. We will also work to ensure that social distancing is maintained during breaks and mealtimes by staggering departments where necessary.

We recommend crew to use their own vehicles when travelling to location, production will also arrange parking or pay parking costs where necessary. When sharing transport artists, clients and crew wear face masks and also sanitise their hands. We will also reduce the number of client and crew passengers with additional production vehicles.
